Jared runs far! Today he ran up to the Zoo and came home wanting to take me on a hike up there because there was a blanket of fresh snow, which was mostly melted or melting from the trees and dropping plops of ice on as as we were hiking through the woods. Anyhow, we saw some beautiful views. Here's a map of our excursion.
After the hike we intended to go to a castle, we hopped on a train only to find at the small town that the buses ran every hour like they usually do in small towns and we decided that we wouldn't have enough time to explore the castle before it closed. Yes, castles close. Hmmm...or do they? I guess we could have taken matters into out own hands...but we would prefer to stay in Switzerland until our planned departure.

A lovely view just up the street from us.
We happened upon this random ice/curling rink in the middle of the woods. So random. One minute you're in Robert Frost land and the next minute you're among pre-teen girls learning to skate like Oksana Baiul.
After barely missing one bus to get to a train we decided to walk a bit along the route and this is what we came upon. Dübendorf.

I can't imagine having so many beautiful places so close. Miami isn't that pretty, except if you go near the beach or the art deco disrict...
Awesome. You guys are going to be soooooo glad you are doing all this after you have kids.
Curling.....hmmm.....I always wondered why that was an olympic sport.
