If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Black and White

Today was Black and White day for the Junior High.
Here's Sam (another teacher here) who looks like he belongs on the Nerd Squad.

Chartreuse

This tennis coach sure is missing a lot of balls. It I were coaching tennis I definitely would try to match the balls with my outfit.

Fire Drill

We had our first fire drill of the year just now. It works our great. I remember when I was little having them in Elementary school and other kids would get scared and cry...well I always thought it was exciting.

Widgets

So, on Mac computer you have these fun little things called widgets. Well, one of mine is a Chi-Pet. It's thriving well because I water it.

Cathy, (a really awesome math teacher at work) failed to water hers and this is what happened. HAHAHAHAHAHA "You Failed to Water Your Chia." It was turned upside down.

Crazy Hair Day

I didn't wake up early enough to participate in the JHS crazy hair day. But, Doug and...

Sam had a lot of fun with it.

The 80's are back...for today

This week is theme week for the Junior High and since I'm the 7th grade advisor I needed to be spirited and dressed up. Today was 80's day.
I'm wearing blue eye shadow and green mascara. You can see Doug tried to get in the photo. HAHAHAHAHA.

Fresh food

My Mother has been out of town for a while. She just returned from an exhausting 8 days of watching my nephew Johnny while my sister and bro-in-law were in Europe with Hudson. Jared and I went over Sunday to make her a yummy meal. We had roasted peppers, tri-tips, tomato's from the garden with cucumbers and basil, wild rice and berries for dessert. It was delicious.

Dancin'

Amanda and I met up with Michelle, and Jenny to get some dancing in Saturday night. It's fun just to go out with the girls and shake off the work week before we have to turn around and go back again. I love to dance, dance, dance.

My Helipad Ring

I have a ring that's very wide and some people like to make fun of it and call it a Helipad.

One of those people is Doug from work. He made his own Helipad ring to be just like me.

Matt Nathanson

Matt Nathanson was playing up in Mill Valley last night. It was a lot of fun. It was a small saloon called Sweetwater so we could get right up to the stage. He even spit on me a few times. Emily and I were excited to go.

Trevor drove us up and he spilled hot tamales all over the car and had Emily hold them but they got really sticky so she threw them out the window.

Rob was so excited for Emily to arrive.
Emily, Trevor, Rob and I attempting to get a group shot.

Shots of Matt

Matt switched guitars a lot last night for different sets. I really was this close. I didn't zoom in at all.

Here's the play list which Rob stole after the show.

Rambunctious Rob

After the concert Rob was so excited and ran around the town doing a bit of freestyle walking.
Trevor, me, Rob and Emily were all a bit wired and tired after the show.

Just Chillin'

The other day I was waiting to me my really rad friend Emily and so I started to stare at life. I noticed a bird just chillin' on top of a telephone pole.

The "New" Vending Machine

Did you know that you can now buy iPods in a vending machine? Yep, if you don't feel like going to the apple store or ordering online just head to Macy's in S.F. and pop one out of the vending machine.

My brother Sam

My brother Sam is the best person to know. He has a big heart and is super friendly. It's perfectly natural for me to think that people with the name Sam have red hair. Whenever I meet someone named Sam who doesn't have red hair it just seems a little off. I don't know why I think that. Sam speaks French and Arabic fluently. He is brilliant and loves every living thing.

Kristine

My friend Kristine and I headed up to S.F. to go to Sports Basement. She's super fun and drives fast while telling me funny stories. I really get a kick out of her. She's delightful, bright, intelligent, beautiful, sporty and so funny. Boys, she's availible.

It was a beautiful day. There were sail boats. I took these photos while we were driving.

Kristine and I both agreed that we are glad that the Golden Gate Bridge is red. If one says "Red" – the name of color – and there are fifty people listening, it can be expected that there will be fifty reds in their minds. And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different. (Josef Albers)

Back-2-School Night

So happy that Back-2-School night is over.

Blowing Stuff Up

I have my painting class in the chemistry room. I know it's kind of odd. It's fun because our chemistry teacher LOVES to blow stuff up. Whenever I ask him about something in the room he'll say, "oh, well let me give you a demonstration."
If I had these demonstrations done in my chemistry class in high school I definitely would have gotten the concepts better.

I held my finger on the shutter button and when the "boom" happened it scared me and my finger automatically pushed the button so I got a nice shot.

Filled with hydrogen.

Balloon, filled with oxygen.

SUPERMAN!

Watched the new Superman the other night with Brandon Routh. Oh baby. It was a delight.

As you can clearly see, Rob was very excited to watch it also.

Gallery Stroll

Emily and I headed up to S.F. and met up with Rebecca for the Gallery Stroll which is the 1st Thursday of every month. See how they're strolling.

I almost knocked over this peacock and there would be no one around to blame it on.

Pretending like no one is taking a photo of us.

Steep stairs.

Awesome art.

Rebecca and Emily so awesome. God is saving somone special for both of them. (They're single boys, are you special enough?)

Then we went to Tu Lan. A delicious plate full of Vietnamese food for under $5.
