If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Baby comes home!

*WARNING - this blog has been taken over by the cutest baby ever.

Finn came home on Wednesday and this is what he has been up to.

Sleeping...wishing it were more at night.

Observing our every move...he is very alert and moves around just as much as he did in the womb, which was A LOT! up until the end!

Learning his animal sounds from Dad. He's pointing to dogs that go, "ruff ruff ruff."

*One of my favorite baby books by Sandra Boynton "Moo, Baa, La La La."

Sleeping on grandma.

Cooking with Grandma. Thank goodness for Grandma!

I love his cheeks. They're the roundest baby cheeks EVER.

He is so sweet! And that is one of my top 5 boys names (Finn--although Phineas is also pretty cool!)--I was trying to talk DH into it for this last one, but never quite got there. I love it!

Yup, he is cute. When my baby was born my niece could only say that my baby was cute and she would tell me this many many times in a short amount of time. So I taught her to her to tell me that the baby was illiterate instead. Since this is a much harder word for a 2 year old to say, she didn't say it as much. With this said, I have to say that your baby too is illiterate, and I mean it in the kindest, most fondest way possible.

Congratulations.

Oh you're not kidding, he IS the cutest baby ever! I love him curled up like a little bean on your mom while she's cooking! Hope you're getting some rest and enjoying every minute with him!

Yay, Alice! Are you gonna share a good labor story? He has such great features. I see a lot of his dad in him. Esp. in the 2nd one. Sleep, schmeep.

Alice, he is just beautiful! Congrats! Enjoy these early baby days...they are here and gone so quickly. Before you know it, you'll be signing him up for kindergarten like I just did with my first baby boy. Cherish it! xoxo
