If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Let the festivities begin

The Christmas parties have started. Well, I guess they did last week with the big Google event. This week Jared and I swung by my work party and then to our ward party. Am I worn out yet? Nope. Bring it on. Bring on the candy and sparkling cider and egg nog and more yummy delicious desserts. Keep the fruitcake though.

Here's Cathy and her husband Chris. Cathy is super fun to hang out with in the faculty room.

Molly, Dan and Corinne. Molly and I hang out all day long and laugh.

Sam. He is a fun addition to our faculty this year.

Me and Molly.

Jared and I at my work party.

For the Heritage Christmas choir that Jared and I sang in we were to wear black with a splash of red.

My cousin Emily was in it also. Don't you love her rose?

My Aunt Kaye, looooves Santa Clauses. She has the most decorated house for Christmas. NO ONE can top her.

Berkeley's Birthday

I can't believe that little Berkeley is a one year old now. My nephew's birthday follows in a week. Berkeley is so smiley and was happy to eat his cupcake. It's fun giving a baby something messy to eat by themselves.

Ping Pong at school

I was telling my students how I was playing Ping Pong the other night and how much fun it was. My one student Scott said, "I've got a Ping Pong table here." I didn't believe him untill he showed up 5 minutes later with one. So we played. I mentioned that I was pretty good because Jared and I played at the Google party and we had some good rallys. Well it's harder when you have to play by the rules.

Google Holiday Party

Friday night Jared and I went to his Holiday party at Google up in S.F. Boy oh boy was it elaborate. The food, the entertainment, the people, everything. Each room, (there were 8) was a different Greek theme. My favorite was the underwater theme with a reggae band and a man hanging from the ceiling in an old divers suit. Then there was the Impala room where they had a hydraulics stand-off with old Impala's bouncing around playing "LowRider" by War. It was formal so Jared and I got all dazzled up.

Fall

The gorgeous tree in front of the house where I live.

Electronic Sculpture

A couple of weeks ago I collected lots of used electronics and had my students take them apart and create sculptures. They could make anything or just do an abstract piece.

Here's a robot.Abstract.
