If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Matt Nathanson

Last night 10 of us (Rob, Trevor, Emily, Katie, Jeff, Jared, Rebecca, Chris, Brendon and I) went to see Matt Nathanson play at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. This is Rob playing his songs and getting pumped for the show. He's very enthusiastic when he plays.

Trevor is a bit more somber when he plays the guitar.

We drove across the San Mateo bridge and when you go backwards it always looks like you're going to drive off the edge.
Here's Matt playing.
This is Rob, who was very excited for the concert.

Thursday Night

Thursday night I got all dolled up and headed up to S.F. to volunteer for a cancer benefit. There were lots of fun people and interesting activities to participate in. They had mocktails, henna tattoos, belly dancing, fishing for fortunes, massages and dancing. They also stuck stickers on the back of us with the names of movie stars and we had to figure out who we were.

I was Julia Louis-Dreyfus who is best know for her role as Elaine on Seinfeld. This is me doing my best impression of her dance.

This is my henna tattoo. It lasts about 2-3 weeks. The guys were very interested in her. I'm not surprised.

I love this girl Kim. She also volunteered and mix and mingled.

This is Urban Diversion where the benefit was held.

Lobster Shack

Last Thursday I went to the "Lobster Shack" with my mama and her brother (my Uncle) David. We had the Maine Lobster Rolls and they were really yummy.

They decorated the place with buoys.

They have rolls of paper towels instead of regular napkins.

My Uncle David and I.

Babysitting Berkeley

I got the wonderful chance to babysit my little friend Berkeley the other day. He is super smiley even when he throws up on me .

He gets kicks out of hanging up-side-down.

Ward Campout

I went on the ward campout this weekend. It was supr fun. I met lots of really cool people. We hiked, ran around, gazed at the stars and off-roaded. The sunsets were really beautiful.

I hung out with old friends

Kim Swenson is darling.

Heather Linebarger is always up for fun.

Adrian is really funny and silly.

Of course I would hang out with Jared because he's my best friend.

La la la Laura.

Steven and Richard.

I made some new friends

Ross is one of my new additions to my friends.

While wandering around the camp we found him cooking hot dogs in the middle of the night.

Matt is super nice and smiles a lot.

Paige is soooo cool. We laughed soooo much and then laughed some more.

A million of us went on a hike to a trickle of a water fall.

We found this random wall that I climbed...

and then jumped down onto a pad.
Here's Kristine gracefully crossing the log.

Off-roading

Eight of us piled into Quinn's forerunner and took off. It was a blast driving over whatever was in our path including trees and walls.

Just driving up a tree.

43 degrees
Some random bicycle in the woods.

Who knows why there's a stop sign in the middle of the woods.

Wipe-out

This poor little man just has the hardest time in these caution signs. (Notice they've added fingers now.)

Fun times at Amanda's

A week ago I went over to Amanda's...

and made some yummy pasta.

Then Jenny came over.

Rob and I made silly faces.

I saw a banana slug.

More fun...

There were some Nemos.

We smiled.
Played golf.

Rob finally made it out of the sand trap.

This was at the beginning of the week when Amanda still liked the dog.

Jared did tricks on the trampoline.

This is me taking photos while I was jumping.
