If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Driving through the Bronx. The pictures speak for themselves.

Having fun

Johnny helped me make cookies. He also helped with the tasting of the dough. He was very good at mixing the ingredients. He was quite helpful.

I gave him these superman pajamas for halloween. Every time he puts them on he recalls the entire night, "we went to a party and ate candy." It's as if he relives Halloween all over again...or are the pajamas a magic time travel machine which takes him back each time he puts them on?

I'm not doing anything wrong!

Peanuuuuuut peanut butter...and jelly

Jonathan ate peanut butter for the first time and actually liked it. He just licked it off the bread despite my attempts at getting him to "just take a bite."

My little munchkins

I went out to NY again last weekend to see my two favorite nephews. Jonathan is 2 yrs and Hudson is 2 months. Jonathan's darling smile was a wonderful greeting after a red eye in from California. Hudson has just about doubled in size since I saw him a month earlier.

LIFE

Driving down the hill from my parents house in Hayward and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We viewed a great many sunsets while growing up. Sometimes it was just too gorgeous to take a photo. This sunset was very intense. I just sat there for moment and then continued down the hill and across the bay to PA.

Day in the Sun

Jenny and I headed down to Carmel and Big Sur on Sunday after church because it was such a beautiful day. The colors were incredible. I loved the aqua blues and and greens and the way the ocean would reflect silver when the sun shined on it. It was fun driving down Hwy 1 and looking to the end of the world. The sight was so glorious and it was fun to share it with my friend Jenny who deeply appreciates nature.

Reduce dependency on oil

I really need to ride my bike around more rather than driving. Is this really a huge problem? Do you really think we'll run out of oil or will it be discovered somewhere else? Does everyone just have hope that everything will work out? Maybe by then we will have better energy resources? How? Why? What?

Home from Algeria

My brother Sam is home from Algeria and loves wearing his new apparel around the house.

Sparklers!

It was fun setting off sparklers. I love them. Notice the super powers that Randy has.

The aftermath of cheers and sparklers.

New Years!!!!!!!

New Years was fun.

NICE!

Woman's shoes......Derek?

Derek met Pete, Thea and I in the city last week because he wanted to shop for some woman's shoes.

Derek likes to shake his head for the photo.

Deep in conversation with his new sweet hat.

Pete came to visit

My cousin Pete came to visit with his darling fiance Thea. We had a blast. I held them hostage for a few extra days because I didn't want them to leave.

This is us loading up our chapped lips with beeswax.

Thea, Pete's fiance. She is so cute and we had a lot of fun.
